How you can help
Become a Counsellor or Listener
We are always looking to expand our team of volunteer counsellors and listeners, to ensure that we can meet the demands of our important service.
We are always looking for:
Qualified Listeners (level 2 or 3)
Qualified Counsellors (level 4 onwards)
Supervisors
The GBS Kingsland Counselling Academy can help you to start on your counselling journey
Become a friend
Guernsey Bereavement Service needs your help. As a charity we are reliant on raising our own funds to ensure we can continue to provide our service. If you have some additional time on your hands, we would love your help.
It could be as little as an hour a year helping us with our flag selling.
Helping and organising fund raising events
Helping with the gardening
Helping decorate/maintain our premises,
and lots more…
We would love to hear from you. This is a great opportunity to meet people and socialise whilst supporting a fantastic charity.
Supporting you in the Workplace
We recognise that when a tragedy affects an office, its effects can be devastating and long lasting. Our specially trained counsellors can offer a variety of tailored workshops and group sessions to provide:
Guidance on how you can help support someone who is grieving
Handouts with key information
How to identify warning signs that some is displaying signs of grieving
Sign posting for further support and guidance

Make a Donation
We couldn’t do the brilliant work we do without financial assistance and donations from organisations and individuals. If you have been impacted by grief and received support, or would like to support someone else on their journey, below are the details of how you can donate
