Welcome to the Guernsey Bereavement Service
The Guernsey Bereavement Service is a free, voluntary, confidential service available for everyone. Our volunteers are drawn from varied backgrounds. They undergo training to maintain the highest possible standards. All volunteers receive regular independent supervision and abide by the code of Ethics of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy . We are affiliated with Cruse Bereavement Care, UK
Guernsey Bereavement Service LBG is based at Kingsland House.

We are looking for new volunteers and would be interested in hearing from anyone who might like to join our Board of Directors. Please contact the Service Manager, details as above.
Visits to Kingsland House are welcome with prior notice.
We are grateful for all donations; funds are needed to maintain Kingsland House and to provide ongoing training for our volunteers. We accept cheques or, alternatively, by PayPal.

Finding the Right Support
We provide emotional support for anyone, aged over 16 years, who is struggling to cope with a loss. Most support is on a one-to-one basis but, from time-to-time we run support groups, which are an opportunity to share experiences and support others in a similar situation.
